A unique combination of silver, copper and tiger’s eye come together in this eye-catching necklace that is really three necklaces in one. Oak trees and tiger’s eye are both associated with strength - from small acorns, mighty oaks do grow!
The hand forged copper oak leaf pendant is complemented by a delicate tiger’s eye acorn in a sterling silver cup. An antique patina emphasises the copper leaf’s natural warm autumnal tones, contrasting with the brightness of the silver. In addition to wearing the leaf and acorn together, the leaf can be worn alone or, for something extra delicate, let the little acorn hang solo.
The leaf it approximately 4cm in length and the tiger’s eye gemstone is 5mm in diameter. The necklace hangs on an 18” sterling silver chain.
While all designs in the oak leaf range are based on a single leaf, from an oak tree growing in the park behind the Rowan Berry studio, your piece will still be beautifully, uniquely yours. Lovingly crafted by hand, you may notice gentle variations in shape, texture, colour or finish compared with the photographs. The copper can range from soft golden tones to deeper purple browns. These colours may darken further over time as the copper is exposed to air, a natural process that is one of the appeals of this beautiful metal. A protective coating has been applied that will slow this process.
