This versatile statement sculptural necklace can be worn three different ways, so you get three necklaces in one (technically four as it can also be flipped on the horizontal!).
First sawn from copper sheet and imprinted with the veins of a real leaf, the metal is then worked by hand to reflect the natural movement of the leaf before being given an antique patina to bring out those gorgeous Autumnal hues.
The leaf is approximately 7cm long and 3.5cm wide. To change the orientation of your necklace, simply move the way the chain runs through the hidden hanging loops on the back. To support regular changing of chain position, a more robust 2mm rose gold plated chain has been incorporated into the design.
All designs in the oak leaf range are based on a single leaf – from an oak tree growing in the park behind the Rowan Berry studio. However, your piece will still be beautifully, uniquely yours. All Rowan Berry jewellery is lovingly crafted by hand, so each piece carries its own character. You may notice gentle variations in shape, texture, colour or finish compared with the photographs. The copper can range from soft golden tones to deeper purple browns. These colours may darken further over time as the copper is exposed to air, a natural process that is one of the appeals of this beautiful metal, although a protective coating has been applied that will slow this process.
